Saffron/Chive Sauce for Pasta

Materials

  • 2 cups table wine
  • 1/2 cup shallots minced
  • 1/2 cup garlic chopped
  • 1/2 bunch fresh thyme picked & chopped
  • 1/2 bunch fresh basil picked & chopped
  • 1 tablespoon saffron
  • 12 pound yogurt fat free
  • 1 bunch chives sliced thin

Instructions

  • Reduce wine, shallots, garlic, thyme, basil & saffron by half.
  • Remove from heat and add yogurt and chives and mix thoroughly.
  • Mix with vegetables & pasta.
  • Serve immediately
