Blackberry Compote
Here's deep, sweet blackberry flavor but without the crazy amounts of sugar and corn syrup that are normally in fruit compotes.

- 1 cup blackberries fresh or frozen
- 1 tablespoon no-calorie sweetener sucralose (Splenda) or stevia (many brands)
In a small sauce pan on the stove, combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until compote begins to thicken.
Lower heat and reduce further until thick.
Cool and serve.
