Can I get weight loss medications at Pritikin?

At Pritikin, our physicians do not typically prescribe weight loss medications. However, we offer comprehensive support to guests who are already taking such medications, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their stay. Additionally, for guests considering weight loss medications, we provide unbiased advice to help them make informed decisions about their health journey.

Yes! You can use your Medical Savings Account (MSA) to help cover the cost of your stay at Pritikin. Because our program is medically supervised and focused on preventing and managing chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity, many guests are able to apply their MSA funds toward their wellness experience here. Be sure to check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility.
At Pritikin, we do not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. However, we do accommodate payments through Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), providing an option for individuals to utilize these funds for our services.
Pritikin’s membership is a complimentary service offered exclusively to guests after their stay, valid for one year. This exclusive benefit is not available through other means or channels.
