Citrus Cous Cous

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups cous cous
  • 1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest


  • Bring water, lemon juice, orange juice and peppercorns to a boil.
  • In a baking dish lay out cous cous.
  • Pour boiling liquid over cous cous and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Let stand for 6 minutes, uncover, flake and garnish.
  • Optional: orange slices, dried cranberries, parsley to garnish
