Grilled Florida Lobster Tail with Truffle Chili Glaze
Sweet, tender Florida lobster gets a Pritikin twist with a smoky char and a bold truffle-chili glaze. Golden raisins add natural sweetness, while chili flakes and truffle oil create a rich, savory finish—an elegant, heart-healthy dish that feels indulgent without the excess.
Ingredients
Lobster Tails
- 4 ea 5 oz Lobster tail Split open with poultry shears
- 1 tsp Lemon Pepper salt free
- 1 tsp All Purpose Seasoning
Truffle Chili Lobster Glaze Servings: 6
- 4 TB raisin
- 4 TB water
- 2 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 TB olive oil
- 2 TB truffle oil
Instructions
Lobster Tails
- Preheat griddle or grill for 15-20 minutes
- Season the butterflied lobster meat
- Grill tails for 6-8 min, or until cooked through
Truffle Chili Lobster Glaze
- In a small saucepan over low heat, golden raisins, chili flakes and water and simmer for 20 min until raisins are plump. Remove from heat and puree smooth
- Strain raisin mixture and set aside
- In a blender add raisin mix, olive oil, truffle oil
- Brush generously over cooked lobster tails right before serving or baste during the last 1–2 minutes of broiling/grilling
Notes
If you want a deeper chili kick, you can let the flakes steep in the raisin mix for 10–15 minutes before serving.
